A welcoming space for families and children to connect, play and grow together.
Investing In Our Youth partners with Milligan, to offer the Yallo early years program in the Dalyellup area. The Yallo program and location is funded by the Government of Western Australia.
The Yallo early years program offers families relaxed, friendly sessions that support children’s learning and development through play, stories, music and time outdoors. The activities are designed to be inclusive, safe and welcoming for everyone, whether you’re a first‑time parent or have been part of the community for years. The current activities include:
- Little Chuditch Wonders – stories, songs and nature play that support early literacy and imagination.
- Bubs on Rugs – gentle, sensory play for babies and their carers.
- Play Café for Young and Old – a special program that brings young children and older community members together through shared play.
- Bub & Me Meander – a relaxed coffee and stroll group for parents and carers with their babies.
Yallo is about more than play. It’s a place where families can meet others, feel supported, and build strong connections during the early years of parenting. There is a focus on creating a relaxed environment where children can thrive and adults can take a breather, share experiences and feel part of the community.
Yallo also offers free parenting workshops in partnership with Parenting Connections WA to support parents and caregivers of children to improve the wellbeing and development of their children.
Visit the South West Early Years Noticeboard for more information on programs, workshops and groups in the area.
